Role of soil erosion in biogeochemical cycling of essential elements.

Dr. Asmeret Asefaw Berhe is Professor of Soil Biogeochemistry, & the Falasco Chair in Earth Sciences at the Department of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Califor-nia, Merced. Her main research focus in-cludes biogeochemical cycling of essential elements in the soil system, global change science, nano-geochemistry, political ecology of land degradation and ownership.
