My research concerns understanding the processes of becoming human/non-human subjects and state power. I have recently completed preliminary field work in Slovenia examining the nexus of post-socialism and neoliberalism in the European refugee crisis. My teaching includes Human Landscapes, World Regional Geography, Economic Geography and a graduate seminar co-taught with Eve Vogel on Marxist thought in geography focusing on the work of David Harvey.
